GOD
HIMSELF CELEBRATES THE MATRIMONY OF OUR FIRST PARENTS IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.
1)-GOD
CREATES OUR FIRST PARENTS MALE AND FEMALE.
First
of all, in God’s plan, we do not have 2 men or 2 women; 2 males or 2
females. God creates mummy and daddy!
He creates them in his image.
IN HIS IMAGE means “intelligent.” Man is to govern his own life with his
reason. Whatever man does, he must be
reasonable in doing it.
IN
HIS LIKENESS means sharing in God’s divine nature. This sharing is called SANTIFYING
GRACE.
Grace
means “gift” which is the life of
God. This gift makes us saints.
May
we read God’s own words: Genesis 1:26-28:
“Then God said: Let us make man in
our image after our likeness. …So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.”
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.”
2)-GOD
CREATES OUR FIRST PARENTS FOR HIS GLORY.
Everything
God does is for his own glory. Thus God
creates a man to glorify Him on earth and be happy with God in heaven. Also God creates a woman to glorify Him on
earth and be happy with Him in heaven.
May
we read the Church on God’s creation of our first parents in CCC (Catechism of the
Catholic Church)
#369:
“Man and woman have been created, which
is to say, willed by God: on the one hand, in perfect equality as human
persons; on the other, in their respective beings as man and woman. Being man or being woman is a reality which
is good and willed by God; man and woman possess an inalienable dignity which
comes to them immediately from God their Creator. Man and woman are both with one and the same
dignity “in the image of God.” In their
“being-man” and “being-woman,” they reflect the Creator’s wisdom and goodness.”
3)-GOD CREATES THEM A UNITY IN TWO, EACH ONE FOR THE OTHER.
The intimate relationship between a man and a woman results from
their creation. Thus, God himself
reveals that it is not good that the man should be alone.
May we read the Will of God in our Mother Church’s teachings in
CCC #371:
“God created man and
woman together and willed each for the other.
… It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper fit for him. None of the animals can be man’s
partner. The woman God “fashions” from
the man’s rib and brings to him elicits on the man’s part a cry of wonder, an
exclamation of love and communion: “This
at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. Man discovers woman as another “I,” sharing the same humanity.”
4)-CREATION OF ADAM AND EVE IN THE STATE OF ORIGINAL JUSTICE
ALSO KNOWN AS THE STATE OF INNOCENCE.
God showers on our first parents all the heavenly gifts they
could accept without changing their human nature.
First of all, God elevated our first parents to share in His
Divine Life; God created his divine life called SANTIFYING GRACE in them.
Then God blessed Adam and Eve with the 4 preternatural gifts:
the gift of knowledge, the gift of immune from sufferings, the famous gift of
integrity and the gift of immortality.
We were not to die. After passing
God’s test of our allegiance to His Supremacy, we were to enjoy, without
passing through death, our heavenly
heritage received from our first parents in the glory of God.
May we read our Mother Church in CCC #374:
“The first man was not
only created good, but was also established in friendship with his Creator and
in harmony with himself and with the creation around him, in a state that would
be surpassed only by the glory of the new creation in Christ.”
5)-GOD REVEALED HIMSELF TO OUR FIRST PARENTS IN THE SPLENDOR OF HIS GLORY
BUT OUTSIDE THE BEATIFIC VISION.
In their creation, our first parents did not enjoy the BEATIFIC
VISION, which is to see and enjoy the Blessed Trinity in heaven. Saint Paul tries to give us a vision of the
Beatific Vision.
May we read Saint Paul in 1Corinthians 2:8-10:
“None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:
“What
no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard, and what no
human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him—
these
are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
6)-THEN
GOD GAVE OUR FIRST PARENTS A SPECIAL MISSION ON EARTH.
May
we read God in his own words in Genesis 1:28-31:
“God blessed them and said to them, "Be fertile and multiply in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish of the
sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the
ground."
… God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there
was evening, and there was morning--.”
7)-GOD
MANDATES OUR FIRST PARENTS TO BE FERTILE AND MULTIPLY BECAUSE HE HAS A PLAN FOR
US.
God
created the world with a special plan.
Before creation, God wants a whole family of saints in the image of His
Son, as Saint Paul reveals to us in his Ephesians 1:4-20:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every
spiritual blessing in Christ. For he CHOSE US in him before
the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his
sight.”
8)-GOD RAISED US TO BE HIS ADOPTED SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME.
God takes an extraordinary step here! He decides to adopt us as his children and
members of his celestial family.
May we read Saint Paul in his own words:
“In love he predestined us to be ADOPTED AS HIS SONS
through Jesus Christ, in
accordance with his pleasure and will-- to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given
us in the ONE he loves.
9)-GOD MADE JESUS OUR BROTHER REDEEMING US.
It is extraordinary how much God loves us. He lavishes on us all
from the abundance of his heart. He has RAISED us to the level of his Son
Jesus!
May we read saint Paul in this beautiful Revelation he gives us:
“In him we
have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's
grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and
understanding.
10)-GOD’S PLAN IS THE FAMILY OF ONE MAN COMMITTED TO ONE WOMAN
and ONE WOMAN COMMITTED TO ONE MAN TO
BECOME PAPA Y MAMA.
God is fulfilling his plan to build up his family of saints in
the eternal life. To all those who
choose to respect and live according to God’s plan, God will nurture them with
his faithful promise. After all, God creates us to be eternally happy with Him
in His eternal glory.
May we read Saint Paul in his own words in Eph 1:13-14:
Having
believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy
Spirit, who is a deposit
guaranteeing our inheritance UNTIL
THE REDEMPTION OF THOSE WHO ARE GOD'S POSSESSION-- to
the praise of his glory.”
11)-TO THOSE WHO
CHOOSE TO LIVE THEIR LIFE ON EARTH OUTSIDE GOD’S PLAN, WE RESPECT THEIR CHOICE.
Salvation is a matter
of choice. Those who choose to separate
themselves from God’s plan, it is their choice and we respect them. Divine Revelation makes it very clear if we
follow our inclinations to evil, we accept the consequences of throwing ourselves
outside God’s plan cutting us away from our salvation.
Make we read Saint
Paul on those following their inclinations to evil in Ephesians 2:1-3:
“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and
sins, in which
you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of
the kingdom of satan, the spirit who is now at work in those who are DISOBEDIENT. All of
us also lived among them at one time, GRATIFYING THE CRAVINGS OF OUR SINFUL NATURE and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of
wrath.”
12)-TO
THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO LIVE GOD’S FAMILY PLAN, TO BE A FATHER IS TO BE THE GARDIAN
OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD.
Thus,
God himself promotes the commandment of matrimony
between a man and a woman. May we read
God in his own words in Genesis 2:24:
“That is why a man leaves his
father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one person.”
God
has given to fathers the unique power to transmit the human life from Adam and
Eve to the last man to be born. The role
of the father in his household is unique in creation. Not only has God given him to transmit the
human life, but he has given him the power to rule over his children.
May
we read God’s will in shaping up the family life in Genesis 18:17-
“Should I hide my plan from
Abraham?” the Lord
asked.
“For
Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of
the earth will be blessed through him. I have singled him
out so that he will teach his sons and
their families to obey my teachings.”
13)-THE
DIVINE MANDATE TO EDUCATE CHILDREN IN THE TEACHINGS OF GOD.
The
father is first and foremost the natural educator of his children. The father’s role as educator and head of the
family is engrained in the children.
Children are naturally inclined to obey and to respect their father as
commander in chief of the family.
14)-MOTHERS
ARE TO RESPECT THE FATHER’S ROLE IN THE FAMILY.
Mothers
must promote the father’s role as commander in chief of the household and the
educator of his children. They must back-up his authority.
May
we read Saint Paul in Eph 5:21-24
“Spouses, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”
15)-GOD
DEMANDS MORE FROM THE HUSBANDS.
God
demands husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the Church and be ready to
die for them.
May
we read saint Paul in his extraordinary revelation in Ephesians 5:25-32:
25 Husbands,
love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
26 to make her holy, … In this same way, husbands ought to love
their wives as their own bodies. He who
loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one
ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his
father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one person.” This is a profound mystery—but I am
talking about Christ and the church.”
16)-FATHERS
ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN.
Fathers
are the care-giver, the bread-winning of their children.
Morally, parents must exercise authority over their children.
Particularly at younger ages, children cannot fend for themselves and need
constant supervision to keep them from starving to death or becoming sick or
injured.
17)-IN
MANY TRADITIONS, FATHERS HAVE BECOME “SEMENTALES,” HIS ROLE IS TO SOWE THE
SEED.
Many pagans traditions infiltrated
the Church. The vocation of the
father disappeared from society. His
fatherhood has been replaced with the animal level of his sexual organ. A man is famous if he can show his maleness.
He is known as the male who can sow his spermatozoas “to all winds!” Absolutely no responsibility! Thus, such
perverse cultures wiped out completely his divine vocation in the family.
Women
with no faith search for a seminal to inseminate them. Such women are led by their feminine push for maternity. We hear their obsession on television for a
son! Faithless women victims of pervert
cultures, all they look for is to satisfy their natural instinct of fulfilling
their maternal urge!
They
have absolutely no psychic or moral concern for their children who will search
in vain all their lives for a father who will never come!
Such
fatherless children, the only reason for their fatherless being is the egoistic
urge of women to satisfy their maternal instinct. A book has been written about such problem
titled DOGS WITHOUT COLLARS.
18)-UNWEDDED
MOTHERS IS NOT IN GOD’S PLAN
God
mandates a man and a woman shall unite together as we read in God’s plan in
Genesis 2:24:
“That is why a man leaves his
father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Each
person is responsible to keep the way of
the Lord, as we read in Genesis 18:19:
“keep the way of the Lord
by doing what is right and just. Then I will do for Abraham all that I have
promised.”
19)-FATHERS
ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE THEIR CHILDREN WITH A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION.
The
paternity, like the maternity, holds the highest responsibility to bring their
children to heaven. Giving life requires
giving the complements of life. Thus, giving life demands feeding it, provide
education and bring it to heaven, the final goal which is God Himself.
To
those who are called to be parents, may we ask Jesus to help them prepare themselves fulfilling their vocation with
a responsible parenthood. The professor.
