GOD DECREED THE ANIMAL VICTIM BETWEEN GOD ALMIGHTY AND MEN SINNERS

GOD DECREED THE VICTIM BETWEEN HIS ETERNAL  SOVEREIGNTY AND MAN SINNER.

1)-GOD IS THE ALMIGHTY LIGHT; THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN GOD.  HE CANNOT SHAKE HANDS WITH THE SINFUL MAN  TO REDEEM HIM FROM THE ABISS OF HIS DOWNFALL.    

 THE VICTIM IS GOD´S ANSWER IN HIS PLAN TO REDEEM MAN BACK TO GOD.  WE HAVE LOST THE CONNOTATION OF THE VICTIM IN GOD´S PLAN TO REDEEM US.  THE VICTIM HOLDS THE SACRED AND DIVINE POWER TO ASSIMILATE MAN SINNER TO THE DIVINE LIFE.  SAINT PAUL REVEALS TO US THE FUSION OF THE VICTIM WITH MAN SINNER.  May we read saint Paul in his words,   Gal 2:20: 

“ I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. the life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Gal 2:20)

THIS FUSION OF THE VICTIM JESUS WITH MAN SINNER, GOD THE FATHER MUST PREPARE ALL MEN TO UNDERSTAND IT AND TO ACCEPT IT AS THEIR ONLY MEANS OF SALVATION.

2)-CHRISTMAS CELEBRATES JESUS, OUR REDEEMER.  HE IS BORN TO DIE ON THE CROSS.  HIS SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS SATISFIES GOD WHO WAS OFFENDED.  JESUS OFFERS HIS SACRIFICE AND DEATH ON THE CROSS TO WORSHIP GOD WITH US, TO FORGIVE SINS AND TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS COMMITTED.

3)-THE REDEEMER, PROMISED TO OUR FIRST PARENTS, IS THE SON OF GOD HIMSELF.   CHOOSING  HIS ONLY SON TO REDEEM US FROM REFUSING TO WORSHIP GOD,  GOD TEACHES US THE GRAVITY OF  OUR FIRST PARENTS SIN AGAINST  HIS SOVEREIGNTY.    TO OFFEND GOD IS NOT ONLY SAYING “NO” TO GOD, AS BEING TAUGHT IN DIOCESAN CATECHISMS.  BENEDICT XVI TEACHES EACH SIN CAUSES GREAT SUFFERINGS RIGHT TO THE HEART OF THE BLESSED TRINITY.

4)-CHRISTMAS CELEBRATES JESUS WHO BECOMES OUR JUSTIFICATION BEFORE GOD WHEN HE PAID OFF OUR DEBT.  HE FREED US FROM SATAN’S CLAWS.  IN OUR CONFLICT BETWEEN GOD AND MAN SINNER, SAINT PAUL REVEALS THE PROFOUND CLEMENCY JESUS FEELS FOR US IN HIS LETTER TO THE GALATIANS.  WE WERE CONDEMNED TO OUR SECOND DEATH, WHICH IS ETERNAL DAMNATION, BECAUSE OF OUR FIRST PARENTS’ MORTAL SIN.  JESUS, BEFORE GOD, ACCEPTED BEING OUR JUSTIFICATION IN HIS HOLOCAUST ON THE CROSS  TO REDEEM US.   May we read  Gal. 2:20,

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

5)-WE ALREADY STUDIED WHY GOD CHASED OUR FIRST PARENTS OUT OF HIS PRESENCE; BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO WORSHIP HIM.  ALTOGETHER,  THEY SUBMITTED TO SATAN ACCUSING GOD TO LIE TO THEM.  JOHN PAUL II, IN HIS FAMOUS ENCYCLICAL “THE REDEEMER OF MAN,” CLARIFIES FOR US WHY WE NEEDED THE REDEEMER AND HIS MISSION AS PROMISED REDEEMER.    May we read in  #9:

“As we reflect again on this stupendous text from the Council's teaching, we do not forget even for a moment that Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, become our reconciliation with the Father.”⁴⁸.

6)-WHEN OUR FIRST PARENTS REFUSED TO WORSHIP GOD, THEIR MORTAL SIN PUT AN END TO GOD’S FIRST ALLIANCE OF HAPPINESS WITH MANKIND.  SIN IS ALWAYS AN OFFENSE TO GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY.  WHEN GOD IS OFFENDED, GOD REQUIRES REPARATION, SATISFACTION.  THUS THE HOLY FATHER TEACHES IN #9:

 “He it was, and he alone, who satisfied the Father's eternal love, that fatherhood that from the beginning found expression in creating the world, giving man all the riches of creation, and making him "little less than God," in that he was created "in the image and after the likeness of God." He and he alone also satisfied that fatherhood of God and that love which man in a way rejected by breaking the first Covenant and the later covenants that God "again and again offered to man."

7)-JESUS, THE SON OF GOD AND OUR REDEEMER, BECAME OUR JUSTICE PAYING OFF OUR DEBT, AND  SATISFACTION BEFORE GOD IN THE MYSTERY OF REDEMPTION.

May we read the Holy Father in #9:

“The redemption of the world-this tremendous mystery of love in which creation is renewed- is, at its deepest root, the fullness of justice in a human Heart-the Heart of the First-born Son-in order that it may become justice in the hearts of many human beings, predestined from eternity in the Firstborn Son to be children of God and called to grace, called to love.”

8)-“JESUS PAID OFF OUR DEBT, AS SAINT PAUL REVEALS IT TO US IN HIS LETTER TO THE COLOSSIANS 2:14,  May we read saint Paul, (Col 2:14):

“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you  alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,  having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross,”

9)-JESUS  NAILED THE PAYMENT FOR THE DEBT TO THE CROSS..

JESUS REVEALS TO SAINT PAUL THE DEBT, WHICH WAS THE SIN OF OUR FIRST PARENTS, IS NAILED TO THE PAYMENT WHICH IS THE CROSS.  THUS THE PAYMENT OF THE DEBT IS NOT GRANTED TO ANYONE FOR THE ASKING.  THE PAYMENT IS ATTACHED TO THE CROSS.  IN THIS REVELATION, JESUS TEACHES US THAT THE CROSS, WHICH IS THE PAYMENT, AND WE HUMANS,  THERE IS AN INFINITE ABYSS.  WE CANNOT REACH OUT TO THE PAYMENT ON OUR OWN HUMAN MEANS.  THE DEATH OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS IS SUPERNATURAL,  OR ON THE DIVINE LEVEL.  WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS, ON THE HUMAN LEVEL.   

10)-GOD MUST REACH OUT TO US; WE CANNOT REACH OUT TO GOD.  THIS MEANS THAT WE DO NOT HAVE A DIRECT LINE OF COMMUNICATION WITH GOD, BECAUSE GOD DID NOT GIVE US ONE.  ADAM AND EVE’S SIN DESTROYED THE DIRECT COMMUNICATION GOD HAD ESTABLISHED BETWEEN HIMSELF AND US IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.  ADAM IN HIS MORTAL SIN HID HIMSELF FROM GOD IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.  SIN SEPARATED HIM FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD.  May we read in Gen 3:8-10:

“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. ⁹ But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

11)-THE REASON FOR ADAM’S HIDING AWAY FROM GOD’S PRESENCE IS SIMPLE.  GOD IS PUE LIGHT.  THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN GOD, AS SAINT JOHN REVEALS TO US.  May we read in  1 Jn 1:5,

“This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”

GOD CANNOT COHABITATE WITH SIN.  MAN SINNER IS ON THE HUMAN LEVEL.  WE LOVE TO IMAGINE GOD SITTING WITH US, EATING WITH US, WALKING WITH US, DIALOGING WITH US.  WE HAD SUCH  A DIRECT PRESENCE WITH GOD BEFORE ADAM’S SIN.  THE DOWNFALL OF OUR FIRST PARENTS DESTROYED THE DIRECT PRESENCE OF GOD IN OUR LIFE.  IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, GOD WALKED WITH OUR FIRST PARENTS, DIALOGUED WITH THEM.  GOD’S DIRECT PRESENCE HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY SIN. 

THOSE WHO THINK THEY ENJOY SUCH A DIRECT LINE WITH GOD DECEIVE THEMSELVES. 

12)-IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, THE DIVINE LEVEL LIVED IN HARMONY WITH THE HUMAN LEVEL.  OUR FIRST PARENTS DID NOT KNOW SIN.  SIN EMBARGO, THEIR SIN PUT AN END TO THEIR HARMONY WITH GOD.  SIN DESTROYED THIS BEAUTIFUL HARMONY BETWEEN  THE DIVINE AND THE HUMAN UNTIL THE VICTIM JESUS CAME.

13)-THE DOCTRINE OF THE 2 LEVELS, THE DIVINE LEVEL AND THE HUMAN LEVEL, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DOCTRINE TO KNOW IN ORDER TO WORK OUR SALVATION.  WE MUST STUDY GOD’S REVELATION, GUIDED BY THE SUCCESSOR OF PETER THE MAN WITH THE KEYS OF HEAVEN, TO CLARIFY AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S RETURN TO MANKIND.  NO HUMANS CAN INVENT GOD’S RELATION WITH US.  MANY OF OUR BISHOPS FOLLOWED PSYCHOLOGISTS PUBLICISING  THEIR FINDING A NEW DOCTRINE TO BUILD  A BETTER WORLD.

NOW THEY ADMIT PUBLICLY THAT,  DENOUNCING THE ORIGINAL SIN,  THEY WERE WRONG.

GOD HAS COME BACK TO US OFFERING US NEW MEANS OF SALVATION.  SUCH NEW MEANS OF SALVATION WE INTEND TO STUDY FROM NOW ON UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF BENEDICT XVI TO WHOM JESUS ENTRUSTS THE KEYS TO HEAVEN.

PSYCHOLOGISTS  NOW HAVE THE PROOF THAT BABIES ARE BORN WITH THE ORIGINAL SIN.  SAINT PAUL  REVEALS THE ORIGINAL SIN IS THE SOURCE AND CAUSE OF ALL EVILS IN THE WORLD.  May we read Paul in his own words,   Romans 7:18-24:

“ For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.   For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.   Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

 So I find this law at work:  Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.   For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;   but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.  What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?”

1)-PSYCHOLOGISTS FINALLY AGREE WITH THE BIBLE.   WE ARE BORN WITH THE ORIGINAL SIN.    THE SIN OF ADAM CORRUPTS THE WHOLE OF CREATION.

2)-PSYCHOLOGISTS FINALLY AGREE WITH THE BIBLE ON THE ORIGINAL SIN, AS DECLARED ON NOVEMBER 18, 2012,  ON 60 MINUTES (CBS).    THEY HAVE NOW THE PROOF THAT THE CHILD IS NOT BORN GOOD.  THE CHILD IS BORN WITH GOOD AND EVIL INCLINATIONS. THE PROGRAM WAS FANTASTIC! I COULD NOT SLEEP ALL NIGHT AFTER SEEING THAT PROGRAM ON 60 MINUTES. I WAS SO HAPPY THANKING GOD ALL NIGHT LONG!!! THEY ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG TEACHING THAT THE CHILD IS BORN GOOD. THEIR NEW FINDINGS WERE BASED ON BABIES OF FEW MONTHS OLD. IT WAS FANTASTIC TO SEE BABIES KNOWING THE EXISTENCE OF GOOD AND EVIL, AND CHOOSING   GOOD OVER EVIL IN SOME CASES AND OTHERS CHOOSING EVIL!

3)- BISHOPS WILL NOW BE ABLE TO COME BACK TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH AND TEACH THE ORIGINAL SIN IN THEIR CATECHISM. "NOW WE KNOW BETTER" IS NOW OVER! THANK GOD THE BATTLE IS OVER. 

 

4)-EVERYWHERE, SIN IS POLUTING PEOPLE’S LIVES.  IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT OUR BISHOPS FELL SO LOW AS TO DENY SIN IN THEIR TEACHINGS, THEIR CATECHISM!

5)- OUR BISHOPS NOW MUST TURN TO THE NEW PSYCHOLOGICAL FINDINGS, SINCE THEY TRUST PSYCHOLOGY MORE THAN THE CHURCH.  NOW THEY MUST TURN ONCE MORE TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS.  THE TEACHINGS OF DIVINE REVELATION HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE REALITY WE LIVE IN OUR DAILY LIVES.  IT IS A BLESSING TO WITNESS MODERN PSYCHOLOGY FINDING INTELLECTUAL AND REAZONABLE PROOFS OF THE ORIGINAL SIN IN US. 

6)-POPE BENEDICT XVI BEGS THE BISHOPS TO ADMIT AND TO TEACH THE REALITY OF SIN IN MAN’S AND WOMAN’S SOULS.  NOW THE HOLY FATHER RECEIVED THE SUPPORT OF MODERN PSYCHOLOGY.

7)-THE HOLY FATHER, IN HIS AUDIENCE OF DECEMBER 3^RD, 2008,  AFFIRMS THAT:

“the original sin as defined by st Paul in the well-known passage of the letter to the Romans (5: 12-21) in which he gives the church the essential outline of the doctrine on original sin….

Paul traces the history of salvation from Adam to the law and from the latter to Christ. at the centre of the scene it is not so much Adam, with the consequences of his sin for humanity, …

the empirical fact is that a contradiction exists in our being. on the one hand every person knows that he must do good and intimately wants to do it. yet at the same time he also feels the other impulse to do the contrary, to follow the path of selfishness and violence, to do only what pleases him, while also knowing that in this way he is acting against the good, against god and against his neighbor. in his letter to the Romans st Paul expressed this contradiction in our being in this way: "i can will what is right, but i cannot do it. for i do not do the good i want, but i do the evil i do not want" (7: 18-19). this inner contradiction of our being is not a theory. each one of us experiences it every day. and above all we always see around us the prevalence of this second will. it is enough to think of the daily news of injustice, violence, falsehood and lust. we see it every day. it is a fact. …

as a consequence of this evil power in our souls, a murky river developed in history which poisons the geography of human history. …  this "second nature" makes evil appear normal to man.  …   thus, the existence of the power of evil in the human heart and in human history is an undeniable fact.   …  faith witnessed to by st paul tell us? as the first point, it confirms the reality of the competition between the two natures, the reality of this evil whose shadow weighs on the whole of creation.”

8)-JOHN PAUL  II, IN HIS ENCYCLICAL IN  “DOMINUM ET VIVIFICANTEM” #35: TEACHES THAT THE ORIGINAL SIN, WHICH CORRUPTS THE WHOLE OF CREATION UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD, CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AND UNDERSTOOD WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.  THUS, A BISHOP, A PRIEST WHO CANNOT ACCEPT THE TEACHINGS OF REVELATION AND THE CHURCH, MUST ON HIS KNEES IMPLORE THE HOLY SPIRIT.  May we read the Pope in his own words:

“35. The Spirit, therefore, who "searches everything, even the depths of God," knows from the beginning "the secrets of man."¹³³ For this reason he alone can fully "convince concerning the sin" that happened at the beginning, that sin which is the root of all other sins and the source of man's sinfulness on earth, a source which never ceases to be active.”

9)-THE POPE AFFIRMS THAT THE ORIGINAL SIN IS AT THE ROOT OF ALL EVILS IN US AND IN THE WORLD.   May we read in DOMINUM OF VIVIFICANTEM # 35:

“ The Spirit, therefore, who "searches everything, even the depths of God," knows from the beginning "the secrets of man."¹³³ For this reason he alone can fully "convince concerning the sin" that happened at the beginning, that sin which is the root of all other sins and the source of man's sinfulness on earth, a source which never ceases to be active. The Spirit of truth knows the original reality of the sin caused in the will of man by the "father of lies," he who already "has been judged."¹³⁴ The Holy Spirit therefore convinces the world of sin in connection with this "judgment," but by constantly guiding toward the "righteousness" that has been revealed to man together with the Cross of Christ: through "obedience unto death."¹³⁵

Only the Holy Spirit can convince concerning the sin of the human beginning, precisely he who is the love of the Father and of the Son, he who is gift, whereas the sin of the human beginning consists in untruthfulness and in the rejection of the gift and the love which determine the beginning of the world and of man.”

10)-THE CHILD IS BORN IN THE CLAWS OF SATAN. SAINT PAUL  REVEALS THE ORIGINAL SIN IN HIS LETTER TO THE ROMANS.  May we read  in Rom 5:12-14:

 ”Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.  Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.”

WHEN THE ENEMIES ARE UNKNOWN, THE BATTLE IS LOST.  TO REFUSE TO TEACH THE DOCTRINE OF THE CHURCH ON THE ORIGINAL SIN IS TO BETRAY JESUS IN OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

11)-JOHN PAUL II AFFIRMS THAT WE CANNOT KNOW THE REALITY OF MAN IF WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.  WE MUST KNOW THE ORIGINAL SIN IN EACH ONE OF US WITH ITS EVIL DESASTROUS CONSEQUENCES, BECAUSE IT IS THE ROOT AND CAUSE OF ALL EVIL IN EACH INDIVIDUAL AND THE WORLD.     

12)-TO TEACH THE ORIGINAL SIN IS TO HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND OUR ENEMIES IN EACH ONE OF US AND OUR RELATION WITH GOD.  WHEN WE REJECT GOD’S REVELATION TO US, HOW CAN WE BE IN HIS GRACE! 

THUS, TO TEACH THE ORIGINAL SIN IS TO GIVE US TO KNOW THE ENEMY WITHIN OURSELVES.  

13)-THE NEW FINDINGS OF MODERN PSYCHOLOGY ON THE ORIGINAL SIN PUTS MANKIND AT THE CROSSROAD OF THE TRUTH ABOUT VIOLENCE IN THE WORLD.

EACH PERSON NEEDS A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF HIS RELATION WITH GOD.   TO TEACH THE CHILD IS BORN GOOD IS TO LIE AT THE FACE OF GOD.  HOWEVER, NOW THAT MODERN PSYCHOLOGY FOUND THE PROOF THAT THE CHILD IS BORN WITH HIS EVIL AND GOOD INCLINATIONS, A GREAT STEP HAS BEEN REACHED IN OUR UNDERSTANDING OF OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.  THE CHILD WILL BE TAUGHT ABOUT HIS EVIL INCLINATIONS AND TO BE HELPED CULTIVATE MORE AND MORE HIS GOOD INCLINATIONS.

14)-WE ARE BORN  “TABULA  RAZA,” AS TAUGHT BY OUR GREAT PHILOSOPHER ARISTOTEL.  WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE. WE MUST FORM THE LANGUAGE GRAMMAR OF OUR PARENTS WHICH BEGINS IN OUR MOTHER’S WOMB.  WE COME INTO THIS WORLD JUST WITH OUR INCLINATIONS TO GOOD AND TO EVIL.  WHAT WE LEARN FROM OUR PARENTS FORMS OUR DESTINY.  PARENTS FORM IN THEIR CHILD THE DIRECTION THEIR CHILD WILL TAKE ON HIS JOURNEY TO ETERNAL LIFE.  OF COURSE THI DIRECTION MAY BE REVERSED ALONG THE JOURNEY.

15)-TO KNOW OUR STATE AT BIRTH IS OF FIRST IMPORTANCE TO UNDERSTAND OUR FIRST EDUCATION TO BE TRUTHFUL.  GOD CREATED OUR FIRST PARENTS IN A STATE OF HAPPINESS THAT THEY FAILED TO UNDERSTAND.  THEY EXCHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD FOR THE LIE OF SATAN.  THEY ASPIERED TO BECOME THEIR OWN GOD, AS PROMISED BY SATAN.  THEY SAW GOD LYING TO THEM.  THIS DRAMA IS TO BE REPEATED BY MEN AND WOMEN UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD.  TO LIVE IN ADULTERY IS TO SEARCH FOR AN EPHEMERAL HAPPINESS LEADING TO THE LOSS OF HEAVEN WITHOUT TAKING IT INTO ACCOUNT.

16)-WITH THE ORIGINAL SIN, LIFE ON EARTH CHANGED FOR THE WORST.  FIRST, WE MUST EARN OUR BREAD AT THE SWEAT OF OUR BROWS. TO FIGHT IGNORANCE ALL OUR LIFE.   NEVER AT PEACE WITH OUR CONCUPISCENCE.  ALWAYS SUBMITTED TO SUFFERINGS AND FINALLY SUBMITTED TO DEATH.  THE WORST OF ALL  IS TO LIVE IN A MORAL WEAKNESS TO COMMIT SIN.  SIN HAS BECOME THE MORAL DESASTER OF OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.  ONCE IN SIN, WE HAVE NO POWER TO REDEEM OURSELVES TO GOD’S FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE.

 17)-WE INHERIT THE CONDEMNATION OF OUR FIRST PARENTS, TO BE BORN WITH A CORRUPTED HUMAN NATURE.  HOWEVER, OUR FIRST PARENTS DID NOT LOSE THEIR NUPTIAL BLESSING.  JOHN PAUL II IN HIS “EL REDENTOR DEL HOMBRE” #9, TEACHES US : 

 “This revelation of the Father and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which stamp an indelible seal on the mystery of the Redemption, explain the meaning of the Cross and death of Christ. The God of creation is revealed as the God of redemption, as the God who is "faithful to himself"⁵⁶, and faithful to his love for man and the world, which he revealed on the day of creation. His is a love that does not draw back before anything that justice requires in him.”     

18)- THE PROMISE OF THE REDEEMER IS OUR ONLY HOPE THAT GOD TAKE US BACK INTO HIS LOVE.  MAY GOD BE BLESSED FOR HIS DIVINE MERCY AND ETERNAL LOVE FOR US.  WE INHERITED THE DISOBEDIENCE OF OUR FIRST PARENTS AND ITS CONSEQUENCES ESPECIALLY CONCUPISCENCE.  GOD IN HIS LOVE MADE US ALL EQUAL IN HIS EYES!  HE SHARED HIS COMPASSION EVENLY WITH ALL OF US.  IN HIS LETTER TO THE ROMANS, SAINT PAUL REVEALS, Romans 11:32:

 “For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them al.”

ADVENT REVEALS   JESUS THE LAST PROPHET 

 APROVED AND SENT BY GOD TO HELP US

TO WORK OUR  SALVATION

 beware of prophets not approved by God

                           Philippians 2:12

 

1)-FALSE PROPHETS WERE COMMON IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.  JESUS WAS SURROUNDED WITH THEM.  THUS HE WARNS US IN VERY CLEAR TERMS.  May we read Jesus in Lucas 21:8:

“Jesus replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them.” 

SAINT LUKE REVEALS ALL THE COMPASSION AND THE SOLICITUDE JESUS SHOWS FOR US.  IN SPITE OF HIS WARNINGS NOT TO FOLLOW PROPHETS NOT APPROVED BY GOD, JESUS KNOWS THE LEGIONS OF SOULS WHO WILL BE LOST BECAUSE OF FALSE PROPHETS.

2)-WHY MUST WE BELIEVE JESUS?   

WE MUST BELIEVE JESUS BECAUSE HE PROVED, NOT WITH WORDS, BUT WITH SIGNS, MIRACLES, THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD, ESPECIALLY WITH HIS OWN RESURRECTION, THAT HE IS THE SON OF GOD AND THE LAST PROPHET APPROVED AND SENT BY GOD.

May we read saint Peter in the Acts of the Apostles Acts 2:22-24:

“Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,^d put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”. (Acts 2:22-24)

3)-PROPHET ISAIAH  PROCLAIMED  THE COMING OF THE LAST TRUE PROPHET  May we read Isaíah in his own words, Isaiah 9:2-5:

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;  upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone.  You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, as they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as men make before you as at the harvest, as men make merry when dividing spoils. For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, and the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian.  … FOR A CHILD IS BORN TO US, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests.  They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.  His dominion is vast and forever peaceful”.   Help us to prepare our hearts and mind to the coming of your Son in the flesh.”                                          (Isaias 9:2-5)

LORD HELP US TO PREPAFE OUR HEARTS AND MINDS TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ONLY SON AS YOUR LAST PROPHET, APPROVED AND SENT BY GOD.

4)-HOW DO WE KNOW THAT JESUS IS THE LAST PROPHET, APPROVED AND SENT BY GOD?

JESUS HIMSELF REVEALS TO US THAT HE IS THE LAST PROOPHET APPROVED AND SENT BY GOD?  JESUS HIMSELF ANSWERS OUR QUESTION.  May we read Jesus in his own words in Luke 21:8:   

“He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them.”                                                                       (Lucas 21:8)

5)- ONLY GOD CHOOSES, APPOVES AND SENDS HIS PROPHETS. 

IN THIS HISTORICAL TIME OF ADVENT, IT IS OUR SACRED DUTY AS BELIEVERS TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THIS PROFOUND CONFUSION ABOUT PROPHETS.

6)-AFTER JESUS, “NO SO-CALLED PROPHETS”  HAVE PRODUCED ANY SIGNS, WONDERS, MIRACLES, TO PROVE THEIR PROPHETIC MISSION WAS FROM GOD. 

OUR AGE IS TROUBLED WITH SO MANY PREACHERS CLAIMING TO BE PROPHETS WHO, IN THEIR PREACHING, CONTRADICT ONE ANOTHER.  ALL ROVE OVER AND CRISS-CROSS THE PLANET AND PEOPLE’S CONCIENCE TO BECOME THEIR FOLLOWERS.  THEY ALL CLAIM TO BE PROPHETS OF GOD, INTERMEDIARIES BETWEEN GOD AND MEN.  HOWEVER, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SHOW ANY SIGNS OF WONDERS, MIRACLES, THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD AS DIVINE PROOFS  CONFIRMING  THEIR MISSION.  NO PROPHET AFTER JESUS EVER CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD!  ONLY OUR PROPHET JESUS RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD!

7)-GOD PROMISED HE WILL APPROVE THE PROPHET HE SENDS WITH SIGNS OF WONDERS, MIRACLES TO GUIDE US IN CHOOSING GOD’S TRUE PROPHET. 

THUS, WHEN GOD SENDS HIS PROPHET TO GUIDE US ON OUR JOURNEY TO ETERNAL LIFE,  THE SIGNS HE GIVES US ARE TO BE RECOGNIZED BY EVERY HUMAN BEING.  WE SEE SAINT PETER GOING ALL OUT TO TEACH US HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE TRUE PROPHET SENT BY GOD; GUIDED BY GOD’S DIVINE SIGNS, WE MUST BE ABLE TO SEPARATE HIS TRUE PROPHET FROM ANY FALSE PROPHETS.  May we read saint Peter in his own words,  Acts 2:22:

8)-JESUS HIMSELF GUARDS US AGAINST SELF-PROCLAIMED PROPHET.  THEY CANNOT GIVE US ANY MIRACULOUS SIGNS, MIRACLES TO PROVE GOD’S APPROVING THEIR MISSION.  HOWEVER, IN SPITE OF GOD’S ABSENCE, THEY KEEP DECEIVING THEIR FOLLOWERS AWAY FROM THE PATH LEEDING TO SALVATION.  May we read Jesus in his own words in Luke 21:8:

9)-THE PROPHET IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE.

THE PROPHET IS THE PERSON CHOSEN BY GOD HIMSELF TO BE HIS INTERMEDIARY BETWEEN GOD AND MEN.

GOD TOOK THOUSANDS OF YEARS TO PREPARED THE COMING OF HIS ONLY SON,  HIS LAST PROPHET WHOM HE WAS SENDING TO REDEEM US FROM ADAM’S SIN.  May we read in   Jn 1:44-45:

“Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.  Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

10)-GOD, IN PREPARING THE COMING OF HIS SON, THE LAST PROPHET HE SENT US, USED MANY THOUSANDS OF YEARS.  GOD, IN HIS DIVINE WISDOM, HELPS US TO UNDERSTAND ALL THE IMPORTANCE HE PUT INTO THIS HISTORICAL EVENT OF THE ADVENT OF HIS ONLY SON THE LAST PROPHET.

11)-ADVENT IS A HISTORICAL EVENT CELEBRATED IN THE LITURGY OF THE CHURCH.

DURING THE HISTORICAL TIME OF ADVENT, MANY PROPHETS ANNUNCED THE COMING OF THE MESIAS, THE SON OF GOD AND THE LAST PROPHET UNTIL THE END OF TIME.

12)-GOD USED MANY PROPHETS  WHO CONSUMED THEIR LIFE PREPARING, WITH THEIR PREACHING AND SIGNS AND WONDERS, THE COMING OF THE LAST PROPHET.

May we read the prophet Isaiah 7:13-14:

“ Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also? ¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself will give you^[a] a sign: The virgin^[b] will conceive and give birth to a son, and^[c] will call him Immanuel.”

13)-THE ETHIOPIAN BEGS PHILIP’S HELP TO CLARIFY FOR HIM THE MEANING OF THE BIBLE TEXT.

THE ETHIOPIAN, HELPED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, BEGS PHILIP TO CLARIFY FOR HIM A CASE IN POINT IN THE BIBLE TEXT THAT HE IS READING.  THUS HE NEEDS HELP TO CLARIFY THE CONFUSION HE SEES IN THE BIBLE CONCERNING THE SEARCH FOR THE REAL PROPHET.

May we read in the Acts of the Apostles,  8:26-40:    

“ Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”  So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian^[a] eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship,  and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet.  The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”

 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:

“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.”^[b]

The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”  Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”   And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.  When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.  Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.”                                    (Acts of the Apostles,  8:26-40)

14)-ADVENT IS THE FULLNESS OF THE TIME GOD HAS DETERMINED TO SEND US HIS ONLY SON,  HIS LAST PROPHET.   (Mt 16:15-20; Mt 28:19-20; Lc 21:8).  

May we read saint Paul  in Galatians 4:4-7:

“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,  Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.”

15)-BENEDICT XVI HELPS US TO UNDERSTAND THE REQUEST FROM THE ETIOPIAN, WHICH IS BEING REPEATED CONSTANTLY AROUND THE WORLD.  PEOPLE BEG THEIR PASTORS TO TEACH THEM THE CATHOLIC FAITH BUT TO NO AVAIL.  THE ETIOPIAN WAS BLESSED HIS REQUEST WAS GRANTED.  HOWEVER, CRISTIANS AROUND THE WORLD ARE NOT BEING GRANTED THEIR REQUEST TO BE EVANGELIZED.  BISHOPS AND PRIESTS REFUSED TO FULFILL THEIR PRIESTLY ORDINATION THAT CONSACRATED THEM TEACHERS OF THE WORD OF GOD.  THEY PREFER THEIR COMMITMENTS TO POLITICS TO SHOW HOW BUSY THEY ARE.  MANY BISHOPS TOLD ME PRIESTS ARE OVERBURDENED WITH OTHER “THINGS.”  THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME TO CATECHIZE THEIR BAPTIZED.  THEY LOOK LIKE MOTHERS WHO ARE SU BUSY LOOKING AFTER THE STREETS THEY HAVE NO TIME TO RAISE THEIR CHILDREN.

16)-POPE BENEDICT XVI WARNS THE BISHOPS OF BRAZIL, AND OF THE WORLD, THEY HAVE LOST THEIR ZEAL TO TEACH CATECHISM.  THEY EVEN DO NOT HAVE TIME TO TEACH THEIR OWN BAPIZED. 

17)-PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS SURROUNDED HIMSELF WITH CATHOLICS WHO, NOT ONLY VOTE TO KILL THE UNFORN, BUT PROMOTE IMMORAL PRINCIPLES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD. THEY TAKE THEIR DELIGHT IN  SUPPORTING OBAMA BECAUSE HE STANDS STRONG AGAINST THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.  

MAY WE PRAY FOR OUR BISHOPS WHO ARE UNAWARE OF THEIR SACRED CONSACRATION OF ORDAINED THAT THEY ARE PRIESTS NOT TO BE INVOLVED WITH POLITICS. WE ACCEPT THE PRIESTLY CONSACRATION TO PRAY FOR OUR PEOPLE AND TO TEACH THEM JESUS WITH HIS PRIESTLY MEANS TO WORK OUR SALVATION.

IF WE ARE GOOD TEACHERS OF CATECHISM, OUR FAITHFUL WILL LOOK AFTER THE POLITICS.
