WE CANNOT WORSHIP GOD IF WE DO NOT OFFER A VICTIM IN HOLOCAUST TO HIS SOVEREINGTY.
IN HIS PLAN FOR THE REDEEMER, FROM ADAM SINNER TO THE END OF THE WORLD, GOD IMPOSES SACRIFICING A VICTIM TO HIS SOVEREIGNTY OVER US TO WORSHP GOD, TO FORGIVE SINS AND TO ATONE FOR SINS COMMITTED. WORSHIPING GOD IS DIFFERENT FROM PRAISING GOD. (to be studied later on)
1)-TO REPAIR THE OFFENSE CAUSED BY SINS AGAINST THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, GOD MANDATES THAT EACH PERSON, FROM ADAM SINNER TO JESUS CHRIST, MUST SACRIFICE TO HIS SOVEREINGTY ANIMAL VICTIMS. GOD WANTS THE OFFERING OF THE ANIMAL VICTIM IN A SACRIFICE TO PREPAIR HIS PEOPLE TO THE SACRIFICE OF HIS SON ON THE CROSS.
FIRST OF ALL, GOD MANDATED THAT ANIMAL VICTIMS BE SACRIFICED IN HOLOCAUST TO PREPARE HIS PRIESTLY PEOPLE TO THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS OFFERED IN HOLOCAUST ON THE CROSS.
2)-MOREOVER, GOD MANDATED ANIMAL VICTIMS TO BE OFFERED IN SACRIFICES TO TEACH THE GRAVITY OF SINS. ALSO GOD MANDATES OFFER HIM AN ANIMAL VICTIMS IN A SACRIFICE TO WORSHIP GOD, TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS AND TO ATONE FOR SINS COMMITTED.
3)-THE DIVINE MERCY IN GOD THE FATHER FROM ALL ETERNITY IS SEEN IN THE VICTIM AND ITS SACRIFICE, AS REVEALED IN SAINT PAUL. IN HIS LETTER TO THE ROMANS, SAINT PAUL REVEALS HOW SINNERS ENTER INTO GOD’S PLAN. FROM ALL ETERNITY, GOD LOVES US WITH HIS ETERNAL LOVE. GOD KNOWS THE MORAL DISASTER CAUSED TO HUMANITY BY OUR FIRST PARENTS DISOBEDIENCE. IMMEDIATELY GOD PREPARED FOR US THE BEST PLAN OF SALVATION HE COULD OFFER US. IT IS CALLED THE PLAN OF DIVINE COMPASSION FOR US SINNERS. May we read in saint Paul, Romans 11:32
“For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.”
BY LETTING ADAM EVE DESTROY HIS FIRST PLAN FOR US, GOD HAD ALREADY A BETTER PLAN FOR US.
THUS, GOD HAS PUT US ALL IN THE SAME DISOBEDIENCE WITH OUR FIRST PARENTS SO AS TO HAVE COMPASSION FOR ALL. LIKE SAINT PAUL SAYS, Rom 3:23,
“all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God.”
WE SAY WE ARE ALL SINNERS, EQUAL WITH OUR FIRST PARENTS. WE ARE BORN IN SIN, IN THE DISOBEDIENCE OF OUR FIRST PARENTS. THEIR DISOBEDIENCE IS OUR INHERITANCE FROM BIRTH.
4)-THE SIN OF ADAM MERITED FOR US THE REDEEMER. THE CHURCH IN HER HOLY SATURDAY LITURGY SINGS:
“o happy fault which gained for us so great a Redeemer.”
SIN IS DEALT WITH IN GOD’S PLAN FOR US SINNERS.
GOD MANDATED OBEDIENCE IN HIS FIRST PLAN FOR SALVATION. GOD REQUESTED FROM OUR FIRST PARENTS TO SUBMIT TO HIS UNIQUE COMMANDMENT: TO WORSHIP ONLY GOD AND TO NOBODY ELSE.
GOD SUBMITTED ALL THE MATERIAL AND ANIMAL WORLD TO THE SUPREMACY OF ADAM AND EVE. ALSO GOD SUBMITTED AL MANKIND TO THE SUPREMACY OF HIS ETERNAL SOVEREIGNTY. TO WORSHIP GOD ONLY AND TO NO ONE ELSE WAS THE ONLY MANDAMIENTO GOD IMPUSO SOBRE NOSOTROS. THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD WAS MAN’S FIRST DUTY.
5)-THE SIN OF OUR FIRST PARENTS PUT AN END TO GOD’S FIRST PLAN FOR US. ADAM’S SIN MERITED THE LOSS FOREVER OF THE ETERNAL LIFE. TO KNOW THE DOWNFALL OF OUR FIRST PARENTS IS NECESSARY FOR EACH ONE OF US FOR OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE. GOD DOES NOTHING LIGHTLY. SIN ENTERED INTO HIS PLAN. GOD LOVES US VERY MUCH. CONSTANTLY HE OFFERS US HIS MERCY TO THE SINNER WHO REPENTS. OUR PRIDE SETS THE LIMIT TO SALVATION WHICH GOD OFFERS TO ALL.
6)-THE POSSIBILITY TO SIN IS IN ADAM’S DESCENDENTS.
GOD KNOWS VERY WELL OUR HUMAN FRAILTY IN OUR REASONING POWER. IF ADAM EVE DID NOT DISOBEY, SOMEONE AMONG ADAM’S DESCENDENTS COULD HAVE DISOBEYED. THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO REDEMPTION FOR THOSE UNFORTUNATE ONES, SINCE NO REDEEMER HAS BEEN PROMISED FOR THEM. THEY WERE TO SUFFER AN IRREVOCABLE DAMNATION.
THUS, THE SIN OF OUR FIRST PARENTS PUT ALL MANKIND IN THEIR DISOBEDIENCE. THEIR SIN ENDED GODE’S FIRST PLAN FOR US.
7)-TO BE BORN IN DISOBEDIENCE IS OUR INHERITANCE. AS SAINT PAUL REVEALS IN Rom 11:32,
“For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.”
IN HIS ETERNAL DESIGN, GOD LOVED US, AS CONDEMNED MANKIND, FROM ALL ETERNITY. WITH HIS ETERNAL LOVE, GOD DID NOT ABANDON HIS FALLEN HUMANITY.
8)-WE ARE NOT IRREVCABLY CONDEMNED TO SIN EVEN THOUGH WE ARE BORN WITH THE ORIGINAL SIN AND CONCUPISCENCIA. IN HIS ANSWER TO CAIN, GOD CLARIFIES OUR INCLINATIONS TO SIN. GOD MAKES IT CLEAR THAT WE CAN SUPERATE OUR TEMPTATION.
May we read God in his own words in Gen 4:5-7;
“5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
9)- SAINT PAUL ECHOES THE SAME DOCTRINE IN HIS REVELATION TO FIRST CORINTHIANS 10:13, may we read:
“ No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
10)-GOD’S SECOND PLAN TO WORK OUR SALVATION FAR EXCEEDS ALL OUR EXPECTATION. EACH ONE IS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPENT WITH GOD’S GRACE.
IN THIS SECOND PLAN, ALSO CALLED THE PLAN OF GRACE, THE SINNER IS NEVER IRREVOCABLE CONDEMNED TO ETERNAL DAMNATION. THE GRACE OF GOD IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO THE SINNER WHO REPENTS.
11)-THE GRACE OF GOD TRIUMPHS OVER SAINT PETER’S BETRAYING JESUS DURING HIS PASSION. BUT PETER HAD A LIFE OF TRUST IN JESUS. HE WAS GIVEN THE GRACE TO REPENT AND HE CHOSE TO REPENT.
12)-THE GRACE OF GOD DID NOT TRIUMPH OVER JUDAS’ BETRAING JESUS, SELLING HIM FOR MONEY. JUDAS HAD A LIFE OF BETRAYING JESUS WITH HIS HANDLING OF JESUS’ MONEY. HE WAS JESUS’ TREASURER. JESUS DID NOT DENY JUDAS THE GRACE TO REPENT, HOWEVER, JUDAS SAW HIS CRIME TOO GREAT TO BE FORGIVEN. HE FELL IN DESPAIR. HE SAW HIS CRIME BEYOND REDEMPTION. INSTEAD OF GOING TO JESUS, HE CHOSE DEATH AND THUS HIS DAMNATION FOREVER.
13)-WE HAVE HERE TWO PERSONS DEARLY CONNECTED WITH JESUS. BOTH OF THEM ARE HIS APOSTLES. PETER CHOOSES HEAVEN, JUDAS CHOOSES HELL. IT IS TRUE THAT NOBODY CHOOSES HELL. HOWEVER, HELL IS CHOSEN WHEN SOMEONE CHOOSES WHAT IS PROHIBITED BY GOD.
POPE BENEDICT XVI ENLIGHTED THE DRAMA OF SIN IN HIS AUDIENCE OF DECEMBER 3, 2008 ON THE ORIGINAL SIN. May we read the Holy Father in his own words:
“On the other hand, it is precisely in order to highlight the immeasurable gift of grace in Christ that Paul mentions Adam's sin. One could say that if it were not to demonstrate the centrality of grace, he would not have dwelt on the treatment of sin which "came into the world through one man and death through sin" Rm 5:12
For this reason, if, in the faith of the Church, an awareness of the dogma of original sin developed, it is because it is inseparably linked to another dogma, that of salvation and freedom in Christ. The consequence of this is that we must never treat the sin of Adam and of humanity separately from the salvific context, in other words, without understanding them within the horizon of justification in Christ.”
“With Romans 5: 12-21, the comparison between Christ and Adam becomes more articulate and illuminating: Paul traces the history of salvation from Adam to the Law and from the latter to Christ. At the centre of the scene it is not so much Adam, with the consequences of his sin for humanity, who is found as much as it is Jesus Christ and the grace which was poured out on humanity in abundance through him. The repetition of the "all the more" with regard to Christ stresses that the gift received in him far surpasses Adam's sin and its consequent effects on humanity, so that Paul could reach his conclusion: "but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more" (Rm 5: 20). The comparison that Paul draws between Adam and Christ therefore sheds light on the inferiority of the first man compared to the prevalence of the second.”
14)-IF I DO NOT KNOW, I DO NOT SIN. SUCH TEACHING IS TOTALLY FALSE DOCTRINE. SUCH A PERSON COMMITS TWO SINS.
THE LOVE OF GOD IS ALWAYS SUPERIOR TO OUR FAILURES. OUR HUMAN FRAILTY IS A PLUS FOR US BEFORE GOD. HOWEVER, OUR HUMAN FRAILTY MUST NEVER LEAD US TO ABUSE GOD’S LOVE FOR US. REFUSING TO KNOW JESUS AND HIS TEACHINGS IS A VERY GRAVE SIN IN ITSELF. SUCH A PERSON COMMITS TWO SINS EACH TIME IT BETRAYS GOD’S LOVE. IT COMMITS THE SIN OF WILFUL IGNORANCE AND IT COMMITS THE SIN OF CHOOSING WHAT GOD PROHIBITS.
15)-IF I DON’T KNOW, I DON’T SIN. THE CHURCH CONDENMS SUCH FALSE TEACHING.
MANY PRIESTS AND BISHOPS TEACH SUCH FALSE DOCTRINE. IT IS TRUE, THE INFINITE LOVE OF GOD SURPASSES OUR HUMAN FRAILTIES. TRUE AGAIN, OUR HUMAN FRAILTIES HELP US BEFORE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. HOWEVER, OUR HUMAN FRAILTIES MUST NEVER GUIDE US TO ABUSE GOD’S LOVE FOR US.
A PERSON, WHO REFUSES TO KNOW JESUS AND HIS TEACHINGS COMMITS A VERY SERIOUS SIN. EACH TIME SUCH A PERSON CHOOSES WHAT GOD PROHIBITS COMMITS TWO SINS. FIRST OF ALL, SUCH PERSON COMMITS THE SIN OF GUILTY IGNORANCE. SECONGLY ALSO SINS FOR CHOOSING WHAT GOD PROHIBITS.
16)-THE PROPHET DANIEL HELPS US EVALUATE THE HEAVENLY REWARD TO THE CATECHIST WHO LEARNS JESUS' TEACHINGS TO TEACH OTHERS. MAY EACH ONE OF YOU BE CROWNED WITH THIS HEAVENLY REWARD. May we read the Prophet in his own words, Daniel 12:3:
"BUT THE LEARNED WHO TEACH OTHERS IN THE PATH OF JUSTICE SHALL SHINE LIKE STARS FOREVER IN HEAVEN."
