THE VICTIME IS THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN SINNER

 

GOD DECREED THE ALTAR TO OFFER  THE HOLOCAUST.  THE VICTIM ON THE ALTAR IS THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN SINNER. THE VICTIM, HOWEVER, IS THE MEETING PLACE.  

1)-GOD IS PURE LIGHT.  THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN GOD. 

GOD WANTS TO MEET WITH MAN SINNER ONLY AT THE MEETING PLACE.  GOD DOES NOT TOLERATE SIN.  HE CANNOT SHAKE HANDS WITH MAN SINNER. May we read in saint James:

 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  St James 1:17.

2)-THE APOSTOL SAINT JAMES BEGS US NOT TO LOWER GOD TO BE AN IDOL.  PAGANS MANIPULATE THEIR IDOLS TO BECOME A REPRESENTATION OF THEIR OWN VICES.  WE LIVE  EXACTLY THE AGE OF RELATIVISM MAKING GOD THE IMAGE OF OUR VICES.  GOD IS NOT ONLY A GOOD GOD, BUT AN “EASY GOING GOD!”  LISTENING TO SUNDAY SERMONS, WE ARE PREACHED A  GOD ALL-MERCIFUL; A GOD WHO DOES NOT CASTIGATE.  A GOD WHO   IS NOT FAITHFUL TO HIS WORDS.  HE HAS NO INTEREST IN HIS TEN COMMANDMENTS.  IN SPITE OF TWO COMMANDMENTS CONDEMNING ADULTERY, OUR PRIESTS EASILY  ACCOMMODATE GOD  VERY WELL WITH THE ADULTERERS!  IN OUR CHURCHES, ADULTERY IS NEVER PREACHED; LIKEWISE THEFT, HOMICIDE…  OUR YOUNG PEOPLE NEVER HEAR THAT SOMEONE LIVING IN ADULTERY CHOOSES HELL.    HELL ITSELF IS NEVER MENTIONED FROM PULPITS, SINCE PRIESTS DO NOT WANT TO SCARE THEMSELVES AND THE PEOPLE.  WHAT A PITIFUL SITUATION THE CHURCH IS IN.  

3)-GOD DECREES THE ALTAR FOR THE HOLOCAUST.  

IN EXODUS, GOD TAKES CARE OF HOW HE IS TO BE WORSHIPPED.  GOD DECREED THE ALTAR WHERE TO SACRIFICE THE ANIMAL VICTIMS AS REVEALED BY GOD HIMSELF.  GOD, GOING INTO MINUTE DETAILS,  REVEALS HOW TO BUILT THE ALTAR. HE MAKES THE ALTAR AN IMPORTANT PART OF HIS DIVINE WORSHIP; THE ALTAR IS WHERE THE HOLOCAUST TAKES PLACE TO WORSHIP THE ALMIGHTY GOD, TO ASK FORGIVENESS FOR SINS AND TO ATONE FOR SINS COMMITTED.  May we read in Exodus 20:24,

“Build for me an altar made of earth, and offer your sacrifices to me--your burnt offerings and peace offerings, your sheep and goats, and your cattle. Build my altar wherever I cause my name to be remembered, and I will come to you and bless you.”

4)-THIS CENTURY OF OURS LIVES A DESFIGURATION OF THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD.  IN THE AGES OF THE SAINTS, THE DOGMAS OF FAITH WERE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DEPOSIT OF THE FAITH.  THE CHURCH GUIDED THE FAITHFUL, DOCTORS AND LAITY ALIKE, ON THE PATH OF FAITH.  REBELS AGAINST THE CREED WERE DISCIPLINED.  THE CHURCH ALWAYS DEFENDED HER DOCTRINE WITH A DIVINE ENERGY.  THANKS TO JESUS’ PROMISE MADE TO PETER AND HIS SUCCESSORS, THE CHURCH TRANSMITTED THE APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE WITHOUT FAILING. 

4)-OUR AGE, TO EMPHAZIZE THE MERCY OF GOD, SEES NECESSARY TO DEMINISH THE JUSTICE OF GOD.  WE HAVE MANIPULATED GOD AS TO CARRY HIM IN OUR POCKETS.  GOD IS NOT SOVEREIGN ANYMORE; HE IS ONE OF THE GUYS! HOW CAN HE PUNISH ONE OF THE GUYS FOR HIS OR HER CRIME!

5)- FEAR OF THE LORD IS A GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

May we read the prophet Isaiah in : Isaiah 11:1-3.   

“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—
 and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.”

FEARING GOD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.  THE CHURCH TEACHES TWO CLASSES OF FEAR OF THE LORD.  THERE IS THE FILIAL FEAR, THE FEAR BEFITTING A SON.  THERE IS ALSO THE SERVILE FEAR, THE FEAR BEFITTING A SLAVE.  THE FILIAL FEAR MAKES US DETEST SIN NOT BECAUSE OF THE PUNISHMENTS DUE TO SIN, BUT BECAUSE SIN OFFENDS GOD. SIN DESTOYS GOD’S LIFE IN THE SOUL.  THE SON, INSPIRED BY FILIAL FEAR, DOES NOT WANT TO CAUSE REAL PAIN IN THE HEART OF HIS CELESTIAL FATHER BECAUSE HE LOVES HIM.  THE FILIAN SON DETESTS SIN THAT CAUSES DEATH OF DIVINE LIFE IN HIS SOUL.  SANTA TERESA DE AVILA DELIGHTED IN TELLING GOD:  IF YOU WANT TO PUNISH ME, SEND ME TO HELL; THERE I WILL LOVE YOU.  THIS LOVE IS CALLED FILIAL LOVE.

THE SERVILE LOVE BELONGS TO THE SLAVE.  THE SLAVE FEARS GOD FOR THE PUNISHMENTS GOD INFLICTS ON SINNERS.  THIS SERVILE FEAR DOES NOT BELONG TO THE HOLY SPIRIT.  MAY WE TEACH THE FILIAL FEAR OF THE LORD TO OUR FAITHFUL.

6)-ALL THE FATHERS OF THE CHURCH LOVE TO SING THE LOVE OF GOD FOR US.  GOD FALLS IN LOVE WITH US SINNERS.  SAINT JOHN OF THE CROSS BEGS US TO FALL IN LOVE WITH GOD: 

 “At the end you will be judged on love; learn to love as God wants to be loved and forget your condition.”

Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcuta:

“Love Jesus with generosity.  Love him confidently without looking behind, without fear.  Give-up yourself totally to Jesus…     Desire to love him very much and  to love this Love who loved us. ” 

THE APOSTLE SAINT JOHN GIVES US AN INSIGHT INTO THE PERFECT LOVE IN HIS FIRST LETTER.  May we read in his own words,  1Jn 4:10:

“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”    1Jn 4:10.

7)-GOD DECREES THE VICTIM IS THE MEETING PLACE FOR THE ATONING SACRIFICE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN SINNER.

JOHN PAUL II, IN HIS ENCYCLICAL “THE REDEEMER OF MAN,” CLARIFIES THE LOVE OF GOD FOR THE MAN SINNER.  HE CLARIFIES FOR US THE REASON WHY GOD CANNOT SHAKE HANDS WITH MAN SINNER.  THUS GOD THE FATHER DECREED THAT THE VICTIM WILL BE THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD ALMIGHTY AND MAN SINNER.  May we read the Pope in his own words in  #9:

“we do not forget even for a moment that Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, become our reconciliation with the Father. He it was, and he alone, who satisfied the Father's eternal love, that fatherhood that from the beginning found expression in creating the world, giving man all the riches of creation, and making him "little less than God,” in that he was created "in the image and after the likeness of God". He and he alone also satisfied that fatherhood of God and that love which man in a way rejected by breaking the first Covenant, and the later covenants that God "again and again offered to man". The redemption of the world-this tremendous mystery of love in which creation is renewed- is, at its deepest root, the fullness of justice in a human Heart-the Heart of the First-born Son-in order that it may become justice in the hearts of many human beings, predestined from eternity in the Firstborn Son to be children of God and called to grace, called to love. The Cross on Calvary, through which Jesus Christ-a Man, the Son of the Virgin Mary, thought to be the son of Joseph of Nazareth-"leaves" this world, is also a fresh manifestation of the eternal fatherhood of God, who in him draws near again to humanity, to each human being, giving him the thrice holy "Spirit of truth."

8)-THE LOVE OF GOD DECREED THE VICTIM ON THE ALTAR WHICH WILL BE THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD ALMIGHTY AND MEN SINNERS.  #9:

“This revelation of the Father and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which stamp an indelible seal on the mystery of the Redemption, explain the meaning of the Cross and death of Christ. The God of creation is revealed as the God of redemption, as the God who is "faithful to himself", and faithful to his love for man and the world, which he revealed on the day of creation. His is a love that does not draw back before anything that justice requires in him.

 Therefore "for our sake (God) made him (the Son) to be sin who knew no sin". If he "made to be sin" him who was without any sin whatever, it was to reveal the love that is always greater than the whole of creation, the love that is he himself, since "God is love".   Above all, love is greater than sin, than weakness, than the "futility of creation", it is stronger than death; it is a love always ready to raise up and forgive, always ready to go to meet the prodigal son, always looking for "the revealing of the sons of God", who are called to the glory that is to be revealed". This revelation of love is also described as mercy; and in man's history this revelation of love and mercy has taken a form and a name: that of Jesus Christ.»

9)-GOD DECREED THE VICTIM ON THE ALTAR AS THE ATONING SACRIFICE TO BE THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN SINNER.   

GOD CALLS MAN SINNER TO MEET WITH HIM AT THE MEETING PLACE  WHICH IS THE ATONING SACRIFICE ON THE ALTAR.  GOD’S LOVE IS ALWAYS WELL DISPOSED TO SAVE MEN OUT OF THEIR SINS.    May we read the Pope in   #9:

“If he "made to be sin" him who was without any sin whatever, it was to reveal the love that is always greater than the whole of creation, the love that is he himself, since "God is love". Above all, love is greater than sin, than weakness, than the "futility of creation", it is stronger than death; it is a love always ready to raise up and forgive, always ready to go to meet the prodigal son, always looking for "the revealing of the sons of God", who are called to the glory that is to be revealed". This revelation of love is also described as mercy; and in man's history this revelation of love and mercy has taken a form and a name: that of Jesus Christ.”

10)-THE MEETING PLACE BETWEEN GOD ALMIGHTY AND MEN SINNER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DOCTRINE ON THE ROAD TO SALVATION.

PRAISING GOD IS DIFFERENT FROM WORSHIPPING GOD.   THE WORSHIPPER  DOES NOT MEET WITH GOD JUST THINKING ABOUT IT IN MEDITATION, OR JUST DESIRING IT, OR TALKING ABOUT IT.  THE SAINTS PRAYED TO GOD, GLORIFIED GOD AND DIALOGUED WITH GOD IN THEIR MEDITATIONS.  PRAYERS ARE NECESSARY IN THE SANTIFICATION OF THE SOUL.  SAINT PAUL MANDATES PRAYERS.  May we read in Romans 12:12

 “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

SAINT JOHN REVEALS TO US THAT PRAYERS ARE NECESSARY AND POWERFUL. May we read in 1Jn 5:14-15,

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.   And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

SAINT PAUL BEGS HIS SON BISHOP TIMOTHY TO PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLES.  May we read in 1Timothy 2:1-4:

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,  for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.  This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,  who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

THUS, TO PRAISE GOD IS NOT ONLY GOOD BUT NECESSARY ESPECIALLY IN PRAYERS OF INTERCESSIONS.  

11)-PROTESTANTS AND SECTS DO NOT WORSHIP GOD AT THEIR SUNDAY MEETINGS.

PROTESTANTS AND SECTS DO NOT HAVE THE PHYSICAL  VICTIM TO OFFER IN HOLOCAUST ON THE ALTAR.  THEY PRAISE GOD AND OFTEN WITH BEAUTIFUL SERMONS.

TO WORSHIP GOD MEANS TO SACRIFICE TO GOD THE VICTIM IN HOLOCAUST ON THE ALTAR,     

TO WORSHIP GOD MEANS TO OFFER THE ATONING SACRIFICE TO HIS SOVEREIGNTY, THE VICTIM IN HOLOCAUST ON THE ALTAR TO WORSHIP GOD, TO ASK FORGIVENESS FOR SINS AND TO ATONE FOR PUNISHMENTS DUE TO SINS COMMITTED.
